Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel
The dream of becoming the fastest racing car in the world was brought to life in the form of a collaboration between Polyphony Digital and Red Bull as part of “Gran Turismo 5” (PlayStation®3). The Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel prototype is an extreme racing car based on the fantastic vision of Polyphony Digital and the pen of Red Bull Racing aerodynamics genius Adrian Newey. They asked the question: “What would the fastest racing car in the world look like without any restrictions on its development?”
Formula 1 star Sebastian Vettel completed the shakedown test ride of the racing car at Gran Turismo 5. In his first circuit of the Suzuka Circuit, he beat the track record by over 20 seconds. At a test ride on the Nürburgring Grand Prix track, he set a record time of one minute and 4 seconds – yet more proof of the unbelievable potential of the Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel prototype.
BMW Z4 M Coupé
67 years old and not at all slower: As the oldest racing driver in the world, the inexhaustible Austrian Dieter Quester entered his name onto the list of winners with this car at the 24-hour races in Dubai and Silverstone in 2007.
For the former European Touring Car Champion, Silverstone was Quester's eighth success to date in a 24-hour race.
Toyota Camry
Brian Vickers drove his way to 8th place in this car in the Bud Shootout at Daytona International Speedway on 10th February 2007. Every racing driver who started from pole position in the preceding year qualifies automatically for the Bud Shootout in February. Brian's pole in Texas 2006 secured him a place for the historic race in February.
The FB – Indy Car
In 1996, Eddie Cheever founded the Cheever Racing Team, which was sponsored by Red Bull for a time. Cheever himself drove for 30 years in Formula One, the Champ Car racing series and in the Indy Racing League. The drivers included Eddie Cheever Jr. and Tomas Scheckter.
Formula SAE
Formula SAE is an international design competition held annually at eight competition locations. This competition has been held in the United States for more than 20 years and, since 1998, in Europe as well. Students from more than 400 universities worldwide take part annually in this design competition.
The idea behind Formula Student is the supposition that a company has commissioned the student teams with construction of a prototype for hobby racers, which is designed for production of a thousand vehicles per year and to meet certain requirements. Accordingly, the competition is conceived in such a way that all aspects from design to cost calculation to practical suitability of the prototype are evaluated. In addition, the competition is divided into dynamic and static disciplines.
KTM 690 Rally Repsol
The requirement for the KTM 690 was not only that it should be easy to ride, but also easy to repair. Following three years of development, Marc Coma flogged this bike through the South American desert in 2009 and was able to sufficiently test all aspects - both riding and repairing - on the new route of the toughest rally in the world. The effort was certainly worth it in the end: Marc Coma succeeded in being crowned winner of Dakar 2009.
KTM 125cc Factory Bike
Red Bull Yamaha 500
John Hopkins rode this Yamaha in 2002 - the last season in the history of the Red Bull Yamaha team. The team was victorious for the first time in 1999 at the Grand Prix of Valencia with Régis Laconi in the erstwhile 500cc class. Garry McCoy celebrated his breakthrough in the year 2000 with victory in the opening race in South Africa and managed to ride to another two wins and three third places during that season.
