When Tomislav Gretic gets to work in the Wine Vault, the restaurant in luxury hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj in Croatia, the most superb ingredients and distinguished wines merge into true art, more so as he grants his guests in-depth insight into the realm of his thoughts and feelings with his compositions. 

In terms of style, Gretic sticks mainly to modern French and Mediterranean cuisine with a slight international element. Of course the quality of the products used plays a fundamental role, alongside the great attention to detail. In indulging his passion for the culinary arts, Gretic discloses much of his personality, the prepared dishes reflect his thought process in their composition and his feelings. It is precisely this almost intimate relationship between chef and guest that Gretic strives for – and he achieves it masterfully with his dishes.
