Hangar-7 has developed in architectural terms to become a new and modern landmark of Salzburg. This exceptional backdrop would not be suited to any normal gastronomy concept.

And so an idea was developed at the Restaurant Ikarus which many had dreamed of but never dared to implement in the past: Patron Eckart Witzigmann and Executive Chef Roland Trettl invite top chefs from all over the world to the Restaurant Ikarus to take guests at Hangar-7 on a culinary voyage around the world. Many award-winning international chefs have now signed the guestbook at the Restaurants Ikarus.

Mayday Bar

Smart through the day – fit for the night, Smart Food menus at the Mayday Bar

The Smart Food menus are served in glasses instead of plates and are created on the basis of modern scientific discoveries and studies. The ingredients for the delicious menus are determined according to what the guest has done during the day.

But without any loss of enjoyment! And even better, the Brain Food, Mood Food and Beauty Food menus are all prepared in the kitchen of the Restaurant Ikarus. Anyone who tackles the day with this fortification inside them will not be too tired to enjoy a cocktail at the Mayday Bar in the evening.

Threesixty Bar

A place in heaven

With the air and aircraft beneath your feet and the sky above your head. And with cocktails served on the side. Visitors are certainly close to heaven here! The Threesixty Bar floats up at a lofty height yet spoils guests with some down-to-earth ideas such as its impressive views since the bar is housed in a glass ball beneath the roof.

The fact that guests have no fear of the height, despite the transparent floor, is perhaps due to the flat upward winding staircase. On the way to the bar there is plenty of time to get used to the height and glance down at the exhibits down below. The pleasant atmosphere in the bar also soothes away any last fears.

International flair is guaranteed as is a diverse cocktail menu.
