"Tides of Change“

New art from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Under the title "Tides of Change", Hangar-7 presented contemporary paintings from artists in the three Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. "The three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are usually not perceived as separate countries, but as one geographical unit situated somewhere northeast of Central Europe. Although the title "Tides of Change" refers to the three states’ shared coastline, the exhibition focused on aspects of their fascinating cultural differences as well as the similarities of their imagery.
