"Fokus Big Apple"
"NEW YORK CONTEMPORARY : ART TIMES SQUARED" The exhibition was for the first time focusing on only one city: New York, the Big Apple.
The art program HangART-7 is aiming to support young artists. After successful exhibitions with artists from Austria, China and Spain, the fourth edition has been dedicating itself to the city of New York, the Big Apple, as the metropolis has been known for more than 100 years, in allusion to its prospering atmosphere and the possibility of the wildest dreams coming true there.
Seven artists from a city with almost as many inhabitants as Austra, selected by seven curators in New York, explain the energies that are bubbling in this city, the different visions that are born in it, the different means by which dreams are lived, ideas realised and hopes fulfilled or buried.
Works are being shown by:
